Valley Forge National Historical Park's historic character faces an imminent threat - an ill-advised development proposal on private land in the park. The American Revolution Center proposes a commercialized museum complex, including a hotel and conference center, on land that was critical to the Continental Army's 1777-78 encampment. Valley Forge is a national icon that must be protected for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. |
